Ever since it was built in 1967, the College of the Canyons has provided an excellent higher education for people of all ages and from all walks of life. It’s a public, two-year community college situated on a beautiful campus of rolling, tree-dotted hills in the city of Santa Clarita.
If someone you know has been arrested on or around the campus of College of the Canyons, give us a call locally at 661-299-2245 or toll-free 877-422-4591.
We’ll give you as much time as you need to explain the bail bond process over the phone. Further, we can meet you anywhere you like in person, including the Santa Clarita Jail. We’ll work quickly and professionally to facilitate your student, friend or family member’s release from jail as quickly as possible.
The Department of Campus Safety, which answers to the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Department, is committed to providing and maintaining a secure environment for both students and faculty.

In addition to their many other law enforcement duties at College of The Canyons, the sworn Santa Clarita Community Officers monitor parking and provide a 24 hour escort service for students. One of the main ingredients of a successful crime prevention program is an informed public.
The Santa Clarita Community College District intends to inform students and staff, in a timely manner, of any criminal activity or security problems which may pose a reasonable threat to their public safety.
Arrests are rare on the campus, but when someone is taken into custody at the College of the Canyons, he or she will be transported to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station and Jail for booking.
The Santa Clarita jail is small; therefore, the booking process is usually completed in an hour or less. We can bail people out of this jail day or night, however, it is important that you call us immediately to do so.
Why? Because if there is a medical condition, or other issues, arrestees may only be held there for so long before they are transported to a larger Los Angeles County facility, (such as Twin Towers), where it can sometimes take more than a full day to bail them out.
We Can Help
Fortunately, SCV Bail Bonds can help you before this transfer happens. Our licensed bondsmen always answer the phone in person. We are on call 24/7 and we get the ball rolling by sending you our simple application via application by fax or email.
SCV Bail Bonds does a great deal of business on the Internet to provide even faster service. If it’s late at night, and all the banks are closed, the last thing you’ll want to do is under this kind of stress is drive around searching for an automatic teller machine or try to figure how to borrow money.
By sending you our application remotely, you can review it in the privacy of your own home; then pay the bail bond premium (which is 10 percent of the cost of the entire bail amount) simply by using a charge card or cash. If you prefer to meet with us in person, we can do that too. Our application only takes minutes to fill out.
We’re local to the College of the Canyons, so please call SCV Bail Bonds at 661-299-BAIL (2245) or toll-free 877-422-4591. We’re always close to home in your time of need.
