When someone is arrested in Thousand Oaks, they will most likely be transported to the Thousand Oaks Police Station on East Olsen Road. Unfortunately, bail bonds cannot be posted here because this is only a temporary holding facility where the arrestee is booked and processed.
After processing, they will likely be taken to the Ventura County Jail. This is the main county jail and it is here that bail bonds are posted around the clock, including weekends and holidays. The Ventura County Jail holds both male and female pre-trial detainees.
How To Pay For a Bail Bond
Bail bond fees cost a non-refundable fee of 10% of the entire bail amount. We understand that in these tough financial times, some of our clients may require assistance paying this cost. At SCV Bail Bonds we make it a point to offer flexible payment terms.
We will let you know if you qualify within in a matter of minutes. Once you do, we will work out a payment schedule, with no additional costs, taxes or fees. We have found most clients find it optimal using their credit cards as the easiest and quickest way of paying for a bail bond.
We always accept VISA, Master Card, American Express and Discover. You may also pay by cash, and we accept personal and business checks with prior check guarantee approval.
It All Begins With A Phone Call
When you call our office, we’ll discuss your situation. When you’re ready to move forward, we can offer you our bail by fax or email option. With this, we can quickly send you our bail bond paperwork within minutes. Our application is short and simple and you can fill out in the privacy of your own home. Or, if you prefer, we can meet you in person at your office or directly at the jail — it’s your choice.
