Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at SCV Bail Bonds! It’s been a long year, and we look forward to many more serving our clients.
Remember while you’re celebrating this year to be careful should you choose to enjoy alcohol. The SCV Sheriff Station deputies have scheduled extra patrols to ensure that they catch those who might be driving under the influence. If you’re unable to drive, find an alternative ride home or stay where you are until you’re able to drive. It’s not worth risking your life.
Shopping Tips
Like many people, you’re probably going to be doing a fair bit of shopping over the next few weeks. Below are some tips to help things go smoothly this holiday season.
Make A List
Santa may be on to something. A lot of people tend to overspend or buy things they don’t really want during the holidays. By creating a list of what you need/want, you can keep yourself focused and help reduce unwanted spending.
Pay With Cash
According to research, people spend anywhere from 20% to 50% more when they shop using credit/debit cards as opposed to cash. It’s a lot harder to see how much you’ve spent when your card looks the same every time. However, if you could see your bank balance diminishing quickly, you might choose to act otherwise.
By shopping with cash, you get a better sense of what you’re spending.
Watch Out for Sales
By “watch out for sales” we mean try to avoid them. Sales are abound this time of year, and they’re not designed to provide you with a great deal. They’re there to get you into the store so you’ll buy more than you came for. Instead, pick what you want and avoid going to stores just to “see what’s on sale.” If you have the disposable income to do so, great! But if not, you may want to beware.
Once again, please have a safe and happy Thanksgiving from all of us here at SCV Bail Bonds!
