The Southeast area is patrolled by deputies from the local Sheriff’s Department. These dedicated officers cover the Athens Park, Harbor Gateway, Watts and Parkside Manor communities.

The Southeast Community Police Station is small and busy. There are only temporary holding tanks at this facility.

Therefore, once the defendant is approved, they will likely be transported to the 77th Street Jail.

Posting a Bond

The process of posting a bail bond at the 77th Street Jail can take from 2 to 6 hours or more, depending on the business of the staff and the individual circumstance of the defendant. We can post a bond at this jail 24 hours day.

At SCV Bail Bonds, we use state-of-the-art computer software and can keep you informed about charges, booking information or any warrants or holds that may affect the arrestee.

Booking and Release Process

At the jail, the defendant will be booked and processed into the system. Some defendants may or may not be eligible for release from jail. There are various options for release.

Should bail not be posted for the defendant, they will be held at the jail until their first arraignment, which usually will take place within 2 business days. Generally, if a person was arrested on Thursday evening, their arraignment would take place on the following Monday morning.

When you call, you can also help the release process move even faster, by providing us the arrestee’s full name and date of birth, and their bail amount. If you don’t this information, that’s still okay – we’ll help you find it.
