The Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station is responsible for providing Law Enforcement services to all of the City of Santa Clarita, as well as 600 square miles of unincorporated County communities of Stevenson Ranch, Castaic and Gorman. Additionally, it covers Newhall, Saugus, Canyon Country, Sand Canyon, and Valencia. The station is open 24 hours a day.
The Santa Clarita jail is a busy jail for its small size. For any reason should the defendant have a medical issue, or the jail is overcrowded, it is highly likely they will be transported to the Los Angeles Twin Towers Facility.
Women will be transported to the Lynwood Jail or (CRDF). If they are transported, the time for their release could increase significantly. We’ve seen it take an additional 24 hours.
This is one big reason why we always consult with our clients and recommend they bail the defendant out of the Santa Clarita jail for a much faster release time.
Release Times
Once the defendant has cleared the booking process, (fingerprints, photographs, background checks), in many cases it can take approximately 1 hour for release at this jail. However, release times can vary based on the jail staff workload and defendant’s situation.
Best of all, we can meet you anywhere in Santa Clarita within minutes! We’re not only your neighbors, we’re your friends. Let us help.
