Do you have plans this Labor Day Weekend? If not, there’s plenty to do all over Los Angeles County.
- Do you like food? Of course you do, and Los Angeles is a mecca for foodies from all over. Going from August 29-30, the Los Angeles Times’ annual food fest will be held at 5555 Melrose Ave. There’s no better place to be if you’re looking for a taste of what Los Angeles has to offer as far as cutting-edge culinary delights and tasty wine. There will be guest speakers from the LA Times, including their own food critic Jonathan Gold. Unfortunately, the event isn’t free, but the $100-$150 it costs to attend is surely money well spent.
- If you’ve had your fill of the city and are looking to do something outside of town, the Los Angeles County Fair held at the Fairplex will have something fun for the whole family. There will be rides, games, tons of fair food and live performances over the course of an entire month. It begins August 28 and doesn’t end until September 28th. So, if you can’t make it this weekend, you’ve still got time.
- For lovers of all things hands-on, one of the the largest arts & crafts fairs in the country, Fiesta Hermosa, will be held in Hermosa Beach from 10 am to 6 pm beginning August 31 and ending September 1st. The Fiesta Hermosa will feature over 300 sculptors, painters, jewelers and other artisans as well as games, kiddie rides, live performances and tons of food from around the world.
- For those who are in Santa Clarita Valley, you could visit Magic Mountain for their annual Labor Day festivities!
These are just a few of the many events going on in Los Angeles County this weekend. Whatever you decide to do, remember to stay safe and if you choose to drink, do so responsibly. From all of us at SCV Bail Bonds, have a safe and happy Labor Day Weekend!
