Arrestees in Lake Hughes will be taken to the Palmdale Sheriff Station where they will undergo booking and processing. The on-site jail at the Palmdale Sheriff Station is small, and designed only for the short-term housing of very few defendants. If an inmate is not bailed out within 24 hours, they will likely be transferred to a long term holding facility in downtown Los Angeles. Men are sent to Twin Towers Correctional Facility and women are sent to the Lynwood Jail. Upon transfer, an additional 12 to 24 hours will be added on to the time before they can be released as they are processed in at the new facility. When the bail bond process is begun while the inmate is still located at the Palmdale Station, it’s possible to avoid transfer altogether.
24 Hour Bail Bonds
Bailing someone out of jail can be stressful, especially when you go at it yourself. Our offices are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (including holidays) and a friendly, knowledgeable bail bondsman is available to take your call at any time. Whether you only have a few questions or you’d like to get the bail bond application process started immediately, our consultations are always free of charge. Additionally, we can post bail at the jails any time, meaning your friend or loved one will spend as little time as possible in custody.
How to Bail Someone Out
The bail bond process begins by calling and providing us with the name, birth date and date and time of arrest of the defendant. We will use the info you provide to locate them within the jail system and verify their eligibility for bail. Once that’s been established, it’s simply a matter of filling out the bail bond application forms and signing the indemnitor’s agreement. We will then provide you with a receipt and dispatch a bail agent to the jail to post the bond. Your friend or loved one will be released once they’re able to be processed out.
