On this page, we have provided an alphabetical listing for The Los Angeles County Sheriff Stations, Jails and Detention Centers. The stations and jails highlighted below include a link for further information.
In Los Angeles County, many of those who are arrested by the Sheriff Department will be taken to one of the county’s smaller Los Angeles Sheriff Department jails or holding facilities. While they are there, they will be booked and processed into the jail’s computer system.
If they are not bailed out, cited out or released on O.R. while at the smaller jails, they will likely be transferred to one of the larger County facilities such as Twin Towers Jail, Men’s Central Jail both located in downtown, or CRDF/Lynwood jail for women located in Lynwood.
